Beena Banerjee (born 19 February 1943), also known as Beena or Bina, is an Indian actress in Bengali and Hindi films and television. Biography Beena Banerjee was born as Beena Batabyal on 19 February 1943, the daughter of film actor Pradeep Kumar (originally Pradeep Batabyal, also, Pradeep Bannerjee) (1925–2001). She married Ajoy Biswas, an actor and film director, but they separated. She has a son, Siddharth Banerjee, who has worked as assistant director to Sajid Khan in two films, namely ''Housefull 2 ''Housefull 2'', sometimes called ''Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen'', is an 2012 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film written and directed by Sajid Khan. The Sega Pico, also known as is an educational video game console by Sega Toys. Marketed as "edutainment", the main focus of the Pico was educational video games for children between 3 and 7 years old. The Pico was released in June 1993 in Japan and November 1994 in North America and Europe, later reaching China. It was succeeded by the Advanced Pico Beena, which was released in Japan in 2005. Though the Pico was sold continuously in Japan through the release of the Beena, in North America and Europe the Pico was less successful and was discontinued in early 1998, later being re-released by Majesco Entertainment. Releases for the Pico were focused on education for children and included titles supported by licensed franchised animated characters, including Sega's own '' Sonic the Hedgehog'' series. Parveen Shakir ( ur, ; 24 November 1952 – 26 December 1994) was a Pakistani poet, teacher and a civil servant of the government of Pakistan. She is best known for her poems, which brought a distinctive feminine voice to Urdu literature, and for her consistent use of the rare grammatical feminine gender for the word "lover". Since her death, the "Parveen Shakir Urdu Literature Festival" has been held every year in Islamabad in her memoriam. Early career Parveen Shakir started writing at a very young age. She wrote both prose and poetry, contributed columns in Urdu newspapers, and a few articles in English dailies. Initially, she wrote under the pen-name "Beena".
