Beehive (TV Show)
''Beehive'' is a British sketch comedy series which was broadcast in 2008. It stars Australian comedian Sarah Kendall and British comedy actresses Alice Lowe, Barunka O'Shaughnessy and Clare Thomson, who wrote much of the show's material. Producer Siobhan Rhodes stated prior to production that the show would be about funny women, who do not feature regularly on TV. The show also features Habib Nasib Nader and Jack Whitehall. Recurring sketches The politically incorrect South African flight attendants titled Air Afrikaans is a recurring sketch, as is a parody of ''Sex and the City''. Smack The Pony
''Smack the Pony'' is a British sketch comedy show that was originally broadcast between 1999 and 2003 on Channel 4. The main performers on the show were Fiona Allen, Doon Mackichan and Sally Phillips. There were also regular appearances from Sarah Alexander, Darren Boyd and Cavan Clerkin. The show's theme tune was a version of the Dusty Springfield song "In the Middle of Nowhere", sung by Jackie Clune. Sarah Kendall (born 3 August 1976) is an Australian comedian from Newcastle, New South Wales, Newcastle, New South Wales. She won the Raw Comedy competition in 1998 and appeared regularly on Australian television. She moved to the United Kingdom in 2000 at the age of 24. Early life Kendall grew up in Newcastle, New South Wales and attended Merewether High School. She moved on to University of Sydney, Sydney University at the age of 18. Habib Nasib Nader (born 1979) is a British actor. He is the recipient of a Laurence Olivier Award, having won Best Supporting Actor with a team of six others for operating and voicing the tiger in '' Life of Pi''. They are the first puppeteers to win this award. Nader was in the original cast at the Sheffield Crucible before moving to the Wyndham's Theatre on the West End.
