Becky Pearson (born January 22, 1956) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Golfing career Before turning professional, Pearson won the Minnesota Junior Girls State Championship twice. While living in North Branch, Minnesota, she reached the quarter-finals at the United States Girls' Junior Golf Championship in 1973 after defeating defending champion Nancy Lopez in the second round. Pearson earned All-American honors twice while attending Florida International University and was the runner-up to Lori Castillo at the 1979 U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links. Cathy Kratzert Gerring (born April 28, 1961) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Born Cathy Kratzert, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she played college golf at Ohio State University. Gerring won three times on the LPGA Tour, all in 1990. She played on the 1990 Solheim Cup team. In April 1992, Gerring was severely burned in a hospitality tent at the LPGA's Sara Lee Classic in Nashville, Tennessee. Due to her injuries, she did not play again on the LPGA Tour until 1996. Gerring's brother, Billy Kratzert, won four times on the PGA Tour. They are one of only two brother/sister pairs to win on both tours (the other is Jim Gallagher Jr. and Jackie Gallagher-Smith). Tu Ai-yu (, born 29 September 1954) is a Taiwanese professional golfer who played on the LPGA of Japan Tour (JLPGA) and the LPGA Tour. Tu won 69 times on the LPGA of Japan Tour between 1974 and 2002, 11 times before becoming a member in 1981, and 58 times afterward. She was the leading money winner on the LPGA of Japan Tour seven times (1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1989, 1991). Mazda Japan Classic
The Toto Japan Classic is an annual women's professional golf tournament in Japan, jointly sanctioned by the two richest women's professional tours: the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour. It was an unofficial money event on the LPGA Tour from 1973 to 1975. It has taken place every year since 1973 at various locations, and is typically held in early November. From 2006 through 2015, the event has been played at Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club in Shima, Mie. In 2016 and 2017, the events have been held at Minori Course of Taiheiyo Club in Omitama, Ibaraki, then changed back to the North Course of Seta Golf Course in Ōtsu, Shiga prefecture for 2018 events.
