Bebê A Bordo
Bebê a Bordo (''Baby on Board'' in English) is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast on TV Globo at a timeslot of 7:00pm, from June 13, 1988 to February 11, 1989, consisting of 209 episodes. Plot Ana (Isabela Garcia) ends up repeating the actions of her mother, who abandoned her at birth. But fate is lending a helping hand as Ana unknowingly drops off her baby girl, Helena (Beatriz Bertu/Adriana Valbon), at the house of Laura (Dina Sfat), her mother. Meanwhile, Tonico Ladeira (Tony Ramos), Zezinho (Léo Jaime), Antonio Antonucci (Rodolfo Bottino), and the brothers Tonhão (José de Abreu), Rei (Guilherme Fontes) and Rico ( Guilherme Leme), are disputing the paternity of the girl, as Ana does not know who Helena's father might be. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Pedro Cardoso Martins Moreira (born 31 December 1962) is a Brazilian actor, screenwriter, playwright and television director. He is best known for his role as Agostinho Carrara on the Rede Globo sitcom ''A Grande Família'', for which he was nominated for an International Emmy Award for best actor. Early life Pedro Cardoso was born in the Zona Sul area of Rio de Janeiro, the second of six children in a prominent family. His father was a well-succeed lawyer, while his grandfather was the president of Banco do Brasil. He is also a second cousin to Fernando Henrique Cardoso, a former President of Brazil. Mauro Mendonça (born April 2, 1931) is a Brazilian actor. Born in Ubá, he started his career in 1955 in the Teatro Brasileiro de Comédia. He debuted in the 1963 TV Excelsior telenovela ''Corações em Conflito''. He went on to act on Rede Record and TV Tupi before moving to Rede Globo in 1973, where he continues to practice acting.
