Anthony Beavers
Anthony Beavers (born 8 May 1963) is an American philosopher. he holds the positions of professor of philosophy, director of cognitive science, and director of The Digital Humanities Laboratory at the University of Evansville. Beavers received his MA and BA from Trinity College, Hartford and his PhD from Marquette University. He was the fourth president of the International Association for Computing and Philosophy (IACAP). Throughout his career, Beavers has been interested in search-engine design. In 1996, he and Hiten Sonpal built the first peer-reviewed search engine, called Argos. Larry Beavers (born October 7, 1985) is an American football wide receiver and kick returner who is currently a free agent. High school Beavers attended Annapolis High School where he played three sports: football, baseball and track. College He attended Wesley College a Division III school located in Dover, Delaware. He currently holds the NCAA all-divisions record for kick return touchdowns with 10. He ended his college career with 2,366 receiving yards, becoming the second all-time in college history. He is a former Chicago alderman and former County Commissioner for the 4th district of Cook County, Illinois, which encompasses part of Chicago's South Side and southern suburbs. Mae Beavers (born December 11, 1947 in Millport, Alabama) is an American politician and public servant. A Republican, she was a member of the Tennessee Senate for the 17th district from 2003 until she resigned to run for governor in August 2017. The 17th district is composed of Cannon, Clay, DeKalb, Macon, Smith, and Wilson counties.
