Beautiful Disorder
''Beautiful Disorder'' is the second and final album by hard rock band Breaking Point, released in 2005. The tracks "Show Me a Sign" and "All Messed Up" were released as singles. It was recorded with producer Ben Schigel playing drums. The band's second drummer, Aaron "Zeke" Dauner was then added, who replaced Jody Abbott. David Cowell was also added on guitar to tour from this point. The song "Goodbye to You" is featured on the '' Fantastic Four'' movie soundtrack. Wind-up Entertainment was an American independent record label founded by Alan and Diana Meltzer in 1997. It was based in New York City and was distributed by BMG Distribution. Wind-up's best-selling artists worldwide were Creed and Evanescence. History Wind-up Records was formed in 1997 by Alan Meltzer, former owner of CD One Stop, and his wife Diana Meltzer, following their 1996 purchase of Grass Records. Ben Schigel
Switched (previously depicted as Sw1tched) was a nu metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. History Forming in 1999 as Sw1tch, the band played shows around Ohio and released a demo entitled ''Fuckin' Demo''. The songs "Anymore", "Wrongside", "Inside", "Darkening Days", "Last Chance", and "Skins", which appear in their demo versions on this CD, went on to appear on the '' Subject to Change'' album. This demo was later re-released on disc two of the "Ghosts in the Machine" album in 2006. Since a funk band already had rights to the name Switch, the band had to change their name to Sw1tched, and was later signed to Immortal/Virgin Records. After recording all of the bass for the '' Subject to Change'' album, bassist Shawn May left the band for unknown reasons, and was replaced by Chimaira drum tech Jason French. ''Coming of Age'' is the original 8-song demo record by alternative rock band Breaking Point, then known as (The) Broken. It was recorded between late-1999 and mid-2000 and was released on January 16, 2001. It was a limited release and is now a sought-after collectible. History After guitar player Justin Rimer got a job at the famous Ardent Studios in Memphis, he became an assistant engineer for such then-emerging acts as 3 Doors Down and Train. Rimmer's time at Ardent led to Broken getting a "spec" (sic) deal at the studio. The result of that deal was the original "Coming of Age", an 8-track demo record that was later the basis for Wind-Up to sign the band. Of the record's 8 tracks, five were later remixed and used on the band's debut L.P also titled "Coming of Age". Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Breaking Point was an American Rock music, rock band on the record label Wind-up Records, Wind-Up Entertainment. It was founded in 1999 in Memphis, Tennessee. Breaking Point's debut album, ''Coming of Age (Breaking Point album), Coming of Age'', was released in 2001 with a follow-up, ''Beautiful Disorder'', released in 2005.
