Beatrice Wabudeya
Beatrice Mukaye Wabudeya is a Ugandan veterinarian and politician. She is the former Minister for Kampala Capital City Authority ( KCCA), in the Ugandan Cabinet, from 17 March 2011 until 27 May 2011. Prior to that, she served as the Minister for the Presidency, from 2006 until May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, she was replaced at the Ministry for the Presidency by Kabakumba Masiko. She formerly served as the Member of Parliament (MP), representing Sironko District Women's Constituency from 2001 until 2011. Background and education She was born in Sironko District on 12 December 1956. Beatrice Wabudeya graduated with a veterinary degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) from Makerere University in 1979. She went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree, specializing in Agricultural Extension, also from Makerere University in 1996. Sironko District
Sironko District is a district in the Eastern Region of Uganda. The district was created in 2000 and had previously been part of Mbale District. Sironko is the main commercial town in the district. Location Sironko District is bordered by Bulambuli District to the north, Kapchorwa and Kween Districts to the north-east, Kenya to the east, Bududa District to the south-east, Mbale District to south-west, and Bukedea District to the west. Parliament Of Uganda
The parliament of Uganda is the country's legislative body. Unicameral, the most significant of the Ugandan parliament's functions is to pass laws that will provide good governance in the country. The government ministers are bound to answer to the people's representatives on the floor of the house. Forum For Democratic Change
The Forum for Democratic Change ( sw, Jukwaa la Mabadiliko ya Kidemokrasia; FDC), founded on 16 December 2004, is the main opposition party in Uganda. The FDC was founded as an umbrella body called Reform Agenda, mostly for disenchanted former members and followers of President Yoweri Museveni's National Resistance Movement (NRM). Nathan Nandala Mafabi is a Ugandan accountant, lawyer, and a politician He represents Budadiri County West in Sironko District in the Ugandan parliament. The National Resistance Movement ( sw, Harakati za Upinzani za Kitaifa; abbr. NRM) has been the ruling party in Uganda since 1986.
