Beata Papp
Beata Leppilampi (née Papp (born 22 April 1995) is a Finnish former competitive figure skater. She placed 15th at the 2010 World Junior Championships and won two medals at the Finnish Championships. Personal life Beata Papp was born on 22 April 1995 in Kuopio, Finland and moved to Canada in the summer of 2007. She is the daughter of a figure skating coach, Ulla, and has three siblings who have competed in the sport—Bela, Bettina, and Benjam. Her American-born father is of Hungarian descent and had moved to Finland when he was five years old. Career Papp won the Finnish national junior title in the 2009–10 season and was assigned to the 2010 World Junior Championships in The Hague, Netherlands. Ranked 20th in the short program, she qualified for the free skate where she placed 14th, pulling her up to 15th overall. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Richard Strauss
Richard Georg Strauss (; 11 June 1864 – 8 September 1949) was a German composer, conductor, pianist, and violinist. Gerardo Hernán Matos Rodríguez (March 28, 1897 – April 25, 1948), also known as Becho, was a Uruguayan musician, composer and journalist. Becho was not attributed to this Uruguayan musician. Richard Charles Rodgers (June 28, 1902 – December 30, 1979) was an American Musical composition, composer who worked primarily in musical theater. ''Slaughter on Tenth Avenue'' is a ballet with music by Richard Rodgers and choreography by George Balanchine. It occurs near the end of Rodgers and Hart's 1936 Broadway musical comedy ''On Your Toes''. ''Slaughter'' is the story of a hoofer who falls in love with a dance hall girl who is then shot and killed by her jealous boyfriend. The hoofer then shoots the boyfriend. The ballet is integrated into the plot of the musical by the device of having two gangsters watching it from box seats in the theatre in which it is staged. They have orders to shoot the leading dancer (played by Ray Bolger in the original production). The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds.
