Beach Soccer Stars
Beach Soccer Stars is an annual award ceremony in beach soccer organised by the sport's developmental body, Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW). The first edition was held on 7 November 2014 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ceremony has continued to take place in the Emirate every year since, occurring after the conclusion of the Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup during the first week of November and has been called beach soccer's version of the better known Ballon D'or in association football. A gala event, attended by many of the world's top current and former players, coaches, officials and other beach soccer figures, five individual prizes are awarded for the best beach soccer player of the year, best goalkeeper of the year, best coach, rising star and best goal. Maxim Aleksandrovich Chuzhkov (russian: Максим Александрович Чужков; born 11 April 1987) is a Russian beach soccer player serving as goalkeeper. He is a five-time national champion for Rotor Volgograd (1), Lokomotiv Moscow(1) and Kristall.(3) Career Maxim Chuzhkov was born in Samara. He was a gymnast for six years before switching to football. Chuzhkov discovered beach soccer in 2010, and one year later he joined Krylya Sovetov from Samara. Jenílson Brito Rodrigues (born 6 December 1978), better known as Mão, is a Brazilian beach soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper. He is a record five-time winner of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup ( 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2017) and won the Golden Glove (best goalkeeper) award at Dubai 2009.
