Be Happy Koi No Yajirobee
is the 8th and final single by the Hello! Project girl group Tanpopo, and the first and only release by the group's "third generation" (Rika Ishikawa, Ayumi Shibata, Asami Konno, and Risa Niigaki). It was released on September 26, 2002 with the catalog number EPCE-5178. The first pressing came with a special trading card. The single peaked at #5 on the weekly Oricon charts, charting for 6 weeks. The single has a "crisp feel", with a touch of hip hop and R&B. This single sold 40,070 copies in its first week and 60,450 copies all together, making it the group's lowest-selling single. It was not, however, their worst-charting single, as it cracked Oricon's top five, which some "first generation" singles had failed to do. It was formed by Up-Front Promotion in November 1998 as Morning Musume's first sub-group. Risa Niigaki
is a Japanese actress and singer. She was a fifth-generation member of the Japanese pop group Morning Musume. She joined Morning Musume in 2001 along with 3 others- Ai Takahashi, Asami Konno and Makoto Ogawa. She grew up in Yokohama after moving there at the age of six. She was one of the longest serving members of Morning Musume, and was the leader of the group from October 2011 to her graduation on May 18, 2012. Ayumi Shibata
(born February 22, 1984) is a Japanese female singer. She is a former member of Melon Kinenbi, an all-girl J-pop group which is part of the Hello! Project. She joined the group Tanpopo with Morning Musume members Asami Konno and Risa Niigaki in 2002 until the group went into an indefinite hiatus after releasing one single. Shibata has been an active member of Hello! Project since 2000, participating in Hello! Project's futsal club Gatas Brilhantes H.P., many shuffle groups, concerts, and special events. After Melon Kinenbi disbanded in 2011, Shibata announced she was starting her own solo career, and she later released her first solo single, "believe", in November 2011.
