The Battle Studies World Tour was a worldwide concert tour by American singer John Mayer. The tour spanned across the North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia promoting his fourth studio album ''Battle Studies'' (2009). Background The tour was announced on November 5, 2009, with tickets going on sale November 21, 2009. Paperless ticketing was used for purchasing and entering the concert. The second leg of North America was announced on March 31, beginning in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 16, 2010. The show on August 28 was a co-headline show with Keith Urban. John Mayer
John Clayton Mayer ( ; born October 16, 1977) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Born and raised in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Mayer attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, but left and moved to Atlanta in 1997 with Clay Cook. Together, they formed a short-lived two-man band called Lo-Fi Masters. After their split, Mayer continued to play local clubs, refining his skills and gaining a following. After his appearance at the 2001 South by Southwest festival, he was signed to Aware Records, and eventually to Columbia Records, which released his first extended play ''Inside Wants Out''. Sound Academy
Rebel (originally the Docks Nightclub & Concert Theater and then Sound Academy) is a nightclub and concert venue located on the Polson Pier in Toronto, Canada. Relaunched in October 2016 as Rebel Night Club, the complex is on the edge of Lake Ontario, overlooking the Toronto city skyline. The main room has a 65-foot stage with an installation of LED video walls, as well as outdoor grand terraces. The mezzanine hosts the central bar which includes built-in seating. The venue opened as "the Docks Nightclub" in 1996. A major renovation in 2016 split the venue into four rooms: "The Main Room", "Noir", "Savage" and the "Purple Room". The Beacon Theatre is an entertainment venue at 2124 Broadway, adjacent to the Hotel Beacon, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. Opened in 1929, the Beacon Theatre was developed by Samuel "Roxy" Rothafel and built as a movie palace, with 2,894 seats across three levels. It was designed by Walter W. The Metro Theatre
The Metro Theatre (commonly the Metro) is a music venue located on George Street, in the city centre of Sydney, Australia. The venue was redeveloped, from two former cinemas, by property developer Leon Fink. The foyer of the Metro, designed by leading Australian stage designer Brian Thomson, features a lightweight plastic replica of the Art Deco crystal chandelier which once hung in Regent Theatre which formerly stood opposite the Metro in George Street.
