Batman is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, and debuted in Detective Comics 27, the 27th issue of the comic book ''Detective Comics'' on March 30, 1939. In the DC Universe continuity, Batman is the alias of Bruce Wayne, a wealthy American Playboy lifestyle, playboy, Philanthropy, philanthropist, and industrialist who resides in Gotham City. Batman Begins (soundtrack)
''Batman Begins: Music from the Motion Picture'' is the soundtrack album to Christopher Nolan's 2005 film ''Batman Begins''. It was released on June 15, 2005. The soundtrack drew from the film score, composed by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, as well as contributions by Ramin Djawadi, Lorne Balfe and Mel Wesson. The main motif of the film (and later of the whole trilogy) consists of just two notes, played by horns and accompanied by strings, representing Batman's pain and guilt. Batman's main action theme of the film (and later of the whole trilogy) is heard in the track "Molossus". The score won an award at the ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards and it was nominated in the category "Best Score" at the Saturn Awards. Composition Director Christopher Nolan originally invited Zimmer to compose the film score, and Zimmer asked the director if he could invite Howard to compose as well, as they had always planned a composers collaboration. ''Batman: Arkham City'' is a 2011 action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Michael Giacchino
Michael Giacchino (; born October 10, 1967) is an American composer of music for films, television and video games. He has also served as a director for television. He has received many awards, including an Oscar for his work on '' Up'' (2009), an Emmy for his work on ''Lost'' (2004), and three Grammys for his work on ''Ratatouille'' (2007) and '' Up (2009)''. Giacchino is known for his collaborations with directors J. J. Abrams, Brad Bird, Matt Reeves, Pete Docter, Colin Trevorrow, Jon Watts, Drew Goddard, The Wachowskis, Taika Waititi, and Thomas Bezucha. The Batman (soundtrack)
''The Batman (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)'' is the film score to the film of the same name composed by Michael Giacchino. The soundtrack was released by WaterTower Music on February 25, 2022, a week ahead of the release of the film. Background Director Matt Reeves announced that Michael Giacchino would be composing the score for ''The Batman'' in October 2019. Giacchino has frequently collaborated with Reeves; he previously scored for ''Cloverfield'' (2008), '' Let Me In'' (2010), ''Dawn of the Planet of the Apes'' (2014), and ''War for the Planet of the Apes'' (2017). Later that month, Giacchino said he had already finished writing the main theme for the film because he was so excited to do so; because this music was written much earlier in the production than is usual for a film, Giacchino and Reeves were able to use it in promotional materials.
