Bassey William Andem
Bassey William Andem (born 14 June 1968) is a Cameroonian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He spent most of his career career in Portuguese-speaking countries, mainly at the service of Boavista. Andem won 31 caps for the Cameroon national team in nine years, being part of the squad at the 1998 World Cup. Club career Andem was born in Douala. After starting his professional career with his hometown club Union Douala (which included a loan spell at Olympic Mvolyé) he moved to Brazil, where he represented Cruzeiro Esporte Clube and Esporte Clube Bahia. In January 1998, Andem joined Portuguese Primeira Liga side Boavista FC, where he engaged in an interesting battle for first-choice status with future Sporting CP player and Portugal international Ricardo. The 2000–01 Primeira Liga was the 67th edition of the top flight of Portuguese football. It started on 19 August 2000 with a match between Braga and Vitória de Guimarães, and ended on 27 May 2001. The league was contested by 18 clubs, with Sporting CP as the defending champions. Boavista won their first league title, becoming only the second champions from outside the Portuguese "Big Three" (''Os Três Grandes'') of Benfica, Porto and Sporting, after Belenenses in the 1945–46 season. Jacques Celestin Songo'o (born 17 March 1964) is a Cameroonian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and is the current goalkeeper coach of the Cameroon national team. He spent the vast majority of his professional career in France and Spain, most notably with Deportivo de La Coruña, appearing in more than 200 official games over the course of six seasons and winning the 1999–2000 La Liga. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system. At the end of each season, the two top-finishing teams are promoted to the top-tier Primeira Liga and the two lowest-ranked teams are relegated to the third-tier league. The 2007–08 Liga de Honra season was the 18th season of the competition and the 74th season of recognised second-tier football in Portugal. The season was started on 18 August 2007. The fixtures (or schedule of games to be played) were announced on 12 July 2007. Fátima and Freamunde were promoted to the Liga Vitalis. The first goalscorer of the season was Tatu, who scored a 4th-minute goal for Desportivo das Aves against Olhanense in, one of the four games, the kick-off that ended 1–2 for Olhanense. FC Steaua București
FC Steaua București was a Romanian professional football club of which two current entities are claiming the records. The original ''FC Steaua București'' team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders (Gigi Becali) acquiring full ownership five years later. However, CSA Steaua București sued the football club in 2011, claiming that this was a new entity; the two have since been in a legal conflict regarding the ownership of the Steaua brand and honours, which resulted in multiple court cases and the forced change of the name of ''FC Steaua București'' to FCSB in early 2017.
