Stock Car Brasil
Stock Car Pro Series, formerly known as Stock Car Brasil, is a touring car auto racing series based in Brazil organized by Vicar. It is considered the major Brazilian and South American motorsports series. Starting in 1979 with Chevrolet as the only constructor, the series has also seen other constructors joining in and leaving such as Mitsubishi, Peugeot and Volkswagen, currently the only other beside Chevrolet is Toyota. The series is composed by 12 rounds, with the most important race, the Corrida do Milhão (English: ''The'' ''Million Race'') being worth double points and has a prize pool of R$1 million. The competition has seen many internationally famous drivers on its ranks, such as Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa, Jacques Villeneuve, Lucas di Grassi, Nelson Piquet Jr., Ricardo Zonta, Tony Kanaan and António Félix da Costa. Diego Nunes (racing Driver)
Diego Nunes (born July 12, 1986 in Curitiba) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Formula Renault Nunes began his car racing career by driving full-time in the Formula Renault 2.0 Brazil championship in 2003 and 2004, having competed in selected events in 2002. With a best result of ninth in the drivers' championship in 2004, Nunes moved on to concentrate on different motorsport series from 2005, but still returned to Brazilian FRenault for the occasional race in that year and the next. Formula Three Nunes switched to Formula Three Sudamericana for 2005, finishing fourth in the championship at his first attempt. In 2006 he took pole position for half of the races but was only able to win one, restricting him to third in the championship. Alberto "Betinho" Valério (Ipatinga, 6 September 1985) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Formula Three Valerio drove in the Formula Three Sudamericana championship from 2003 to 2005, winning the title in his final year of the category. For 2006 he moved to the British championship, finishing 11th in the championship. 2007 saw him move to the Carlin Motorsport team and improve to eighth place in the standings. Formula Renault In 2004 and 2005, Valerio also drove at selected races in the Brazilian Formula Renault series. In 2006 and 2007, he drove in four races overall in the more prestigious Formula Renault 3.5 Series.
