Basma Hassan
Basma Ahmed Sayyed Hassan ( ar, بسمة أحمد سيد حسن; born December 7, 1976) is an Egyptian actress. Early life Basma's father is a journalist and her mother is a women's rights activist. She is the granddaughter through her mother of the late Youssef Darwish, who was an Egyptian Jew and a communist activist. Basma studied English literature at the Cairo University. Career Basma began her career acting at the university in the film "El Madyna (The City)" where the director Yousry Nasrallah chose her to participate in the film; however, before the movie she tried to be a radio presenter and had already taken an interview in the national radio channel. But before anything, Yousry Nasrallah selected her for the movie "El Madyna (city)". Later on, she acted in the American TV series, ''Tyrant''. Safi, Morocco
Safi or Asfi ( ar, آسفي, ʾāsafī; ber, ⴰⵙⴼⵉ, asfi) is a city in western Morocco on the Atlantic Ocean. It is the capital of Asfi Province. It recorded a population of 308,508 in the 2014 Moroccan census. The city was occupied by the Portuguese Empire from 1488 to 1541, was the center of Morocco's weaving industry, and became a ''fortaleza'' of the Portuguese Crown in 1508. Safi is the main fishing port for the country's sardine industry, and also exports phosphates, textiles and ceramics. ''Zay El Naharda'' (Arabic: , ''On a Day Like Today'') is a 2008 Egyptian thriller film, it was the debut of its writer and director Amr Salama. Plot Mai falls in love with Ayman, who passes away chasing her brother Mohammad, a drug addict, who stole her bag. The story repeats itself with the same exact dates a year later with her new boyfriend Yaser. Mai asks for her friend's help, Riham who works as a psychiatrist as she detects Ayman's diaries with the help of his father and figures that the same story happened to Ayman, whose girlfriend died a year prior his death. The movie kicks off with Mai telling what happened in the very end, where she is racing time to save Yaser from her brother, who is about to shoot him. She splits the story into two parts, the first concerning Ayman and the second concerning Yaser. Events are ambiguous a mysterious, but they unravel through the film.
