Bas Eickhout
Bas Eickhout (born 8 October 1976) is a Dutch politician who has been a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) since the 2009 elections. He is a member of the GreenLeft, part of the European Green Party. Education and early career Eickhout attended high school at the Cobbenhagen College in Tilburg. Between 1994 and 2000, he studied chemistry and environmental science at Radboud University in Nijmegen. During his studies, he was an intern at research information centers in Nijmegen and in the United States. He also chaired the Nijmegen Association of Chemistry Students Sigma, and he was a member of the Nijmegen University Council. From 2000, Eickhout worked as a researcher at the Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. He worked on several projects which had to do with transnational environmental problems such as climate change, and was the institute's spokesperson on the sustainability of biofuels. Bram Van Ojik
Abraham "Bram" van Ojik (born 22 September 1954) is Dutch politician and diplomat of the GreenLeft (GL) party and activist. Since 23 March 2017 he has been a member of the House of Representatives. He previously served in the House from 1993 to 1994, and from 2012 to 2015. In the latter three years he also served as leader of GroenLinks. European Parliament
The European Parliament (EP) is one of the legislative bodies of the European Union and one of its seven institutions. Together with the Council of the European Union (known as the Council and informally as the Council of Ministers), it adopts European legislation, following a proposal by the European Commission. Anton Johan Wijnand (Wijnand) Duijvendak (born 30 November 1957) is a Politics of the Netherlands, Dutch politician. He is a former member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands, House of Representatives for GreenLeft. Biography Duyvendak is the eldest son of a Minister (Christianity), minister from Zeist. After his high school he studied sociology at the University of Amsterdam between 1976 and 1980. Arie Van Den Brand
Ir. Arie van den Brand (born 22 February 1951 in Oostvoorne) is a Dutch GreenLeft politician. He was member of the House of Representatives for GreenLeft between May 2002 and March 2004. Van den Brand studied agriculture science at the University of Wageningen. He continued to work at the People's Academy of Bergen as director of the ILTC (the educational centre for the agricultural sector), and was a director of the foundation "In Natura". He was member of the Labour Party, but switched to GreenLeft in 2000. Parliament In the 2002 election, Van den Brand was elected to the Dutch House of Representatives. Dr. Kathalijne Maria Buitenweg (born 27 March 1970) is a Dutch politician for the GreenLeft who served as a member of the House of Representatives between 2017 and 2021. Cornelis Niels van den Berge (born 28 December 1984 in Bad Honnef) is a Dutch politician. As a member of GreenLeft (GroenLinks) he was a temporary MP from 12 January to 11 March 2011, replacing Mariko Peters, who was on maternity leave.
