Barratt Waugh
Barratt Waugh (born August 1979, Swindon, Wiltshire) is a British countertenor singer. Career Waugh first came to the UK's attention when featured on Michael Barrymore's '' My Kind of People'' and ''My Kind of Music'', and went on to perform at the Royal Albert Hall supporting Cliff Richard. Having been signed to the Warner Bros. Records classics subsidiary Erato, Waugh's album, a collaboration with Diane Warren, ''I Love You, Goodbye'' was released in Japan, France and the US in 2000. 50,000 copies were sold, with Barratt making promotional appearances in these countries. In the US, Atlantic Records picked up on the track "A Time for Us" and released a club version. In 2002, Waugh first underwent brain surgery to remove an abscess and started writing his own material. There were to be several repeat operations to cure the problem. Heaven (club)
Heaven is a superclub in Charing Cross, London, England. It has a long association with London's LGBT scene and is home to long-running gay night G-A-Y. The club is known for Paul Oakenfold's acid house events in the 1980s, the underground nightclub festival Megatripolis, and for being the birthplace of ambient house. Soundshaft also hosted Future, a regular night on Thursdays run by Andrew Weatherall and Terry Farley. At the end of the night, both crowds would come together when the doors connecting Heaven & Future opened for the last couple of songs. Gareth Paul Gates (born 12 July 1984) is an English singer-songwriter and actor. He was the runner-up in the first series of the ITV talent show ''Pop Idol'' in 2002. Sugababes are a British girl group composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy. The lineup changed three times before returning to the original lineup in 2011. Formed in 1998 by All Saints manager Ron Tom, Sugababes released their debut album '' One Touch'' through London Records in November 2000, which achieved moderate success and produced the top-ten single " Overload". Blazin' Squad were an English hip hop group. The group had seven top ten hits, including "Crossroads", a cover version of the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony original. Jon O'Brien of AllMusic called them the "self-proclaimed pioneers of 'chav' culture". Career ''In The Beginning'': 2002 The band released a number of white label singles on the Weighty Plates label featuring remixes of the track "Standard Flow" from their album '' In the Beginning''. Fast Food Rockers were a British pop music, pop group known briefly for their novelty music. The band met at a fast-food convention in Folkestone in the summer of 2003. Career Their most successful hit was their 2003 release "Fast Food Song", which parodies the traditional folk music, folk melody "A Ram Sam Sam". The Dutch DJ Eric Dikeb claims to have made a Dutch song out of that traditional melody in 2001, called "Pizzahaha", explaining that at that moment, he was taking part in the Dutch television show ''Big Diet'', in which contestants had to lose as much weight as they could over a few months. Dikeb further claims to have come up with the idea to use the names of his favourite fast-food restaurants in the song. Pizzahaha did not make it to the Dutch charts, but in Belgium the band Dynamite made a big hit out of it, with a Belgian version called "De Pizzadans".
