Barlow Der Mugrdechian
Barlow Der Mugrdechian ( hy, Պարլօ Տէր-Մկրտիչեան; born 1956) is a historian and lecturer in that California State University, Fresno, where he teaches Armenian language, art, literature, history, and culture courses. His main area of research has been Armenian literature. He serves as the Berberian Coordinator of the Armenian Studies Program and the Director of the Center for Armenian Studies. He has published numerous articles on Armenian history, culture, and literature in many academic and professional journals worldwide. Matenadaran
The Matenadaran ( hy, Մատենադարան), officially the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, is a museum, repository of manuscripts, and a research institute in Yerevan, Armenia. It is the world's largest repository of Armenian manuscripts. It was established in 1959 on the basis of the nationalized collection of the Armenian Church, formerly held at Etchmiadzin. Its collection has gradually expanded since its establishment, mostly from individual donations.
