Barbara Radulović
Barbara Radulović (born 2 September 1982) is a Croatian TV host. She is perhaps best known as a participant in the Nova TV talent show '' Story Supernova Talents'' in 2003. After that appearance, Radulović soon had a chance to host the HRT music show ''Video-kiosk''. In 2010, she was working as a host on the Croatian Music Channel, which started on November 5, 2007. Born in Ogulin, Radulović has since lived in Zagreb, where she graduated at the Faculty of Economics. Radulović shot an editorial for the Croatian men's magazine, ''Klik'', in 2003. She was chosen as the most beautiful Croatian woman on the Croatian portal Index.hr Index.hr is a Croatian tabloid online newspaper, launched in December 2002 and based in Zagreb. Ogulin
Ogulin () is a town in north-western Croatia, in Karlovac County. It has a population of 7,389 (2021) (it was 8,216 in 2011), and a total municipal population of 12,251 (2021). Ogulin is known for its historic stone castle, known as Kula, and the nearby mountain of Klek. Toponymy There are several proposed etymologies for the name of Ogulin. Firstly that the surrounding woods needed to be cleared for a better defence of the town, so Ogulin received its name because of the resulting bare area ("ogolio" in Croatian) around it. There were a lot of lime-trees along the road from Ogulin towards Oštarije, and the people used to peel the bark, in order to get bass. It is suggested that Ogulin got its name from the verb to peel ("guliti" in Croatian). Neither proposal is historically confirmed. Nova TV is a Croatian free-to-air television network launched on 28 May 2000. It was the first commercial television network with national concession in the country and from 2004 until 2018 it was fully owned by the Central European Media Enterprises. ''Vjesnik'' () was a Croatian state-owned daily newspaper published in Zagreb which ceased publication in April 2012. Originally established in 1940 as a wartime illegal publication of the Communist Party of Croatia, it later built and maintained a reputation as Croatia's newspaper of record during most of its post-war history. During World War II and the Nazi-allied Independent State of Croatia regime which controlled the country, the paper served as the primary media publication of the Yugoslav Partisans movement. ''Hrvatska radiotelevizija'' (abbr. HRT), or Croatian Radiotelevision, is Croatia's public broadcasting company.
