Barbara Kolar (born 18 April 1970) is a Croatian actress, television presenter at the Croatian Radiotelevision and the radio presenter at Antena Zagreb. She is the most famous for hosting the '' Ples sa zvijezdama'' ( en, Dancing with the Stars) and ''Zvijezde pjevaju'' ( en, Just the Two of Us) shows. She hosts Antena Zagreb's ''Jutarnji Show'' ("Morning Show"). She starred in the HRT series '' Bitange i princeze'' ("Punks and princesses"), ''Stipe u gostima'' ("Stipe's visit") and ''Naša mala klinika'' ("Our little clinic"), and is the host of the quiz show ''Upitnik'' ("Questionnaire"). ''Dancing with the Stars'' is the name of various international television series based on the format of the British TV series '' Strictly Come Dancing'', which is distributed by BBC Studios, the commercial arm of the BBC. ''Just the Two of Us'' is a British television reality singing contest hosted by Vernon Kay and Tess Daly, to date the only show that the couple have worked together on. The first series of the BBC show saw eight celebrities team up with professional singers and sing each night in duets, with one pair being eliminated every night. After each performance they were judged by a panel of industry experts. The basic format of the show was first used in another BBC programme, ''Strictly Come Dancing''. ''Bitange i princeze'' is a situation comedy which aired from 2005 to 2010 on Croatian Radio Television. The series is set in Zagreb, and shows the daily lives of a group of five friends living in two neighbouring apartments, similar to the plot in ''Friends''. However, it contains elements of parody.
