Barbara Keogh
Barbara Keogh (21 April 1929 – 25 October 2005) was a British actress. Keogh is most noted for her work on television, particularly her role as Lilly Mattock on the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders''. Early life and career Keogh was born on 21 April 1929 in Bucklow, Cheshire, as Barbara Winifred Keogh, to father Joseph Lowe Keogh and mother Winifred Hamson. Her mother died in 1946 and father in 1996. She trained at the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, before going on to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Keogh acted alongside John Osborne and Ronnie Barker at Kidderminster Repertory Theatre before touring with Bill Kerr in a production of '' The Teahouse of the August Moon''. Television career Keogh made her television debut in 1958 as Mrs Pemberton in '' Champion Road'', and continued to be a regular on television until her death. Lilly Mattock
Lilly Mattock is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Barbara Keogh from 5 November 1998 to 2 September 1999. Lilly likes to forget her age and concentrate on having fun. She has a rude awakening when she is mugged in 1999, and fun-loving Lilly is never quite the same again. Storylines Lilly was a former hoofer with the Westwood Girls (a showgirl), performing throughout Europe and the Far East at the close of World War II. ''Little Britain'' is a British sketch comedy series that began as a radio show in 2000 and ran as a television series between 2003 and 2007. It was written and performed by David Walliams and Matt Lucas. ''Juliet Bravo'' is a British television police procedural drama series, first broadcast on 30 August 1980, that ran for six series and a total of 88 episodes on BBC1. The theme of the series concerned a female police inspector who took over control of a police station in the fictional town of Hartley in Lancashire. Dot Cotton
Dorothy "Dot" Branning (also Cotton) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera, '' EastEnders'', played by June Brown. In a special episode entitled ''EastEnders: Dot's Story'' (2003) a young Dot was played by Tallulah Pitt-Brown in flashbacks. A tragicomic character, Dot was known for her devout Christian faith, gossiping, chain smoking, hypochondria, and motherly attitude to those in need.
