The Kawasaki Barako is a motorcycle model built by Kawasaki Motors Philippines and launched in 2004. The Kawasaki Barako was designed to replace the older two-stroke Kawasaki HD-III which was launched in 1982 until it was phased out in 2007. The BC 175 is primarily used as utility hauler for business needs. Background It was initially launched as the Kawasaki Barako 175 with an engine that originally came from the Eliminator, but with the implementation of stricter emissions regulations and an extremely competitive market, an enhanced version, the Kawasaki Barako II 175, was later launched. There are two variants available in the market in which differs on how the motorcycle is started: a standard Barako with only a kick start and a higher variant of Barako both equipped with a kick start and an electric starter. A two-stroke (or two-stroke cycle) engine is a type of internal combustion engine that completes a Thermodynamic power cycle, power cycle with two strokes (up and down movements) of the piston during one power cycle, this power cycle being completed in one revolution of the crankshaft. Compression Release
A compression release mechanism works to ease the starting of internal combustion engines by allowing them to spin up to starting speed without having to work against the pumping action of the pistons. It does this through a release valve that is incorporated within the cylinder head that vents the cylinder pressure to the outside atmosphere until the engine has sufficient momentum to overcome it. Kick start is a method of starting an internal combustion engine (usually that of a motorcycle) by pushing a ratcheting lever with one's foot. Kick start mechanisms were almost universally a part of motorcycle engines before the mid-1970s, and were phased out of production over the next twenty years or so as electric starters became standard equipment. There are still some motorcycles produced that have both kick and electric starters. The Kawasaki Eliminator is a cruiser-type motorcycle that has been produced in several variants since its introduction in 1985 as the 900 Eliminator. Kawasaki W175
The Kawasaki W175 is a air-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder motorcycle made by Kawasaki since 2017. It is a retro styled, like the Kawasaki W series along with the Estrella (now called as W250), W650, and W800. Kawasaki held the world premiere launch for this bike at Jakarta in November 2017, thus began selling this bike for the Indonesian domestic market. As for now, the bike has been exported for Thailand, Philippines, and Latin American market such as Uruguay, Mexico and Bolivia. A four-stroke (also four-cycle) engine is an internal combustion (IC) engine in which the piston completes four separate strokes while turning the crankshaft. A stroke refers to the full travel of the piston along the cylinder, in either direction. The four separate strokes are termed: #Intake: Also known as induction or suction.
