Bara Rifles
The Bara Rifles are a paramilitary regiment forming part of the Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North) of Pakistan. The name alludes to the Bara River and Bara Tehsil (a subdivision of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province). The Rifles are tasked with defending the border with Afghanistan and assisting with law enforcement in the districts adjacent to the border. This includes collaborations with civilian police forces to intercept illegal drug shipments. Training The regiment has been involved in training for new Khasadars (a tribal police force in the now defunct Federally Administered Tribal Areas), who are gradually being incorporated into the civilian Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. Civil Armed Forces
The Civil Armed Forces (CAF) are a group of nine paramilitary, uniformed organisations, separate and distinct from the regular "military" Pakistan Armed Forces. The Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North) ( ur, , reporting name: FCKP(N)), is a group of paramilitary regiments of Pakistan, operating in the northern part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, overseeing the country's borders with Afghanistan and assisting with maintaining law and order. It is one of four Frontier Corps with the others being: FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South) stationed in the south of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and FC Balochistan (North) and FC Balochistan (South) stationed in Balochistan province. Bara River
Bara River ( ps, باړه سیند; ur, دریائے باڑہ ) is a river in Khyber Agency and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The Bara River originates in the Tirah Valley of Bara Tehsil, Khyber Agency. It joins the Kabul River Canal which originates from the Warsak Dam, and re-enters Peshawar. Then it flows in the North-easterly direction to the Nowshera District, eventually joining the Kabul River near Camp Koruna, Akbarpura. Khasadar
The Khasadar (Arabic أَمين for Keeper/Guardian) were paramilitary forces operating throughout the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), now a part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan.
