Bangna
Bang Na ( th, บางนา, ) is one of the fifty districts (''khet'') of Bangkok, Thailand. Its neighbors, clockwise from the north, are the Phra Khanong and Prawet Districts of Bangkok and Bang Phli, Mueang Samut Prakan, and Phra Pradaeng Districts of Samut Prakan province. History Bang Na was once a sub-district of Phra Khanong. It became a separate district on 6 March 1998. Administration The district has two sub-districts (''khwaeng''). Places Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) is a major convention and exhibition center. Among its regularly hosted events is the annual Bangkok International Motor Show. Central Bangna, also known as Central City Bangna (previously known as CentralPlaza Bangna) is a shopping centre on Bang Na–Trat Road located in Bang Na District in Bangkok, Thailand. History The shopping mall was developed with joint investment of Central Pattana, Srivikorn Group, Navabhand Group and Tosapol Management Co., Ltd in December 1993. Later in December 2001, Central Pattana acquired the shopping mall and then renovated it including numerous exterior and interior improvements, new zoning and the development of innovative retail spaces. Udom Suk station ( th, สถานีอุดมสุข) is a BTS skytrain station, on the in Bang Na District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Sukhumvit Road at Soi Udom Suk (Sukhumvit Soi 103), to the north of Bang Na intersection. Bang Phli District
Bang Phli ( th, บางพลี, ) is a district (''amphoe'') of Samut Prakan province in Thailand. It is home to Suvarnabhumi Airport (also called (New) Bangkok International Airport), which opened on 28 September 2006 as Thailand's primary airport. The district was part of the once-proposed Nakhon Suvarnabhumi province. History Bang Phli appeared as evidence that it has been a habitat since the Khmer era (around 435–1158), because many areas around it are names that are derived from Khmer such as Thap Nang, Nam Daeng, Bang Chalong etc. The Khlong Samrong canal, which is long, flows through the area and is considered a main watercourse. Burapha Withi Expressway
The Bang Na Expressway (full name: Bang Na - Bang Phli - Bang Pakong Expressway), officially Burapha Withi Expressway ( th, ทางพิเศษบูรพาวิถี), is a six-lane elevated highway in Thailand. It is a toll road and runs above National Highway route 34, (Bang Na–Trat Highway) owned by the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT). The bridge was the achievement of Sukavich Rangsitpol deputy prime minister of Chuan Leekpai Cabinet (1992-1995). The Bang Na Expressway was designed by the late Louis Berger. History The Bang Na Expressway was conceived by the Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (ETA). The structure was built using a design-build contracting method. Prawet District
Prawet ( th, ประเวศ, ) is one of the 50 districts of Bangkok, Thailand. It is in the southeast. Neighboring districts are (from the east clockwise) Bang Phli ( Samut Prakan province), Bang Na, Phra Khanong, Suan Luang, Bang Kapi, Saphan Sung and Lat Krabang (Bangkok). History Prawet was once part of Phra Khanong District. Prawet was elevated to become a separate district in 1989. Part of Prawet, especially the Suan Luang Sub-district, was carved out to establish Suan Luang District on 14 January 1994. Its name after Khlong Prawet Burirom, a canal that flows through the northern area. In October 2005 the plan to create the special administrative area Nakhon Suvarnabhumi around the new Bangkok airport became public. Chonburi Province
Chonburi (, , ) is a province of Thailand (''changwat'') located in eastern Thailand. Its capital is also named Chonburi. Eastern Thailand is a region of Thailand bordering Cambodia on the east, Northeastern Thailand in the north, and central Thailand on the west.
