Bang Na Expressway
The Bang Na Expressway (full name: Bang Na - Bang Phli - Bang Pakong Expressway), officially Burapha Withi Expressway ( th, ทางพิเศษบูรพาวิถี), is a six-lane elevated highway in Thailand. It is a toll road and runs above National Highway route 34, (Bang Na–Trat Highway) owned by the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT). The bridge was the achievement of Sukavich Rangsitpol deputy prime minister of Chuan Leekpai Cabinet (1992-1995). The Bang Na Expressway was designed by the late Louis Berger. History The Bang Na Expressway was conceived by the Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (ETA). The structure was built using a design-build contracting method. Bang Pakong River
The Bang Pakong ( th, แม่น้ำบางปะกง, , ) is a river in east Thailand. The river originates at the confluence of the Phra Prong River and the Hanuman River near Kabin Buri, Prachinburi Province. It empties after 231 kilometres into the Gulf of Thailand at the northeastern tip of the Bay of Bangkok. The watershed of the Bang Pakong is about . The river powers a power station near its mouth, near Highway 7. To protect the Irrawaddy dolphins, fishermen on the Bang Pakong River have been persuaded by authorities to stop shrimping and 30 to 40 fishing boats have been modified so they can offer dolphin sightseeing tours. Bang Na District
Bang Na ( th, บางนา, ) is one of the fifty districts (''khet'') of Bangkok, Thailand. Its neighbors, clockwise from the north, are the Phra Khanong and Prawet Districts of Bangkok and Bang Phli, Mueang Samut Prakan, and Phra Pradaeng Districts of Samut Prakan province. Highway 32 (Thailand)
Highway 32 ( th , ทางหลวงแผ่นดินหมายเลข 32, ) is a national highway in Thailand. It begins in Bang Pa-In District in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province at the junction of Phahonyothin Road (Thailand Route 1) and the Outer Bangkok ring road (Motorway 9), then passes through the provinces of Ang Thong, Singburi, and Chainat, where it merges back into Phahonyothin Road directly at the border with Nakhon Sawan Province. Until the mid-1990s, this highway was tolled. Two toll booths are still there today, but are now used as an administration building. Compared with other long haul routes in the same direction, Highway 32 provide a shorter and faster way from Bangkok to Nakhon Sawan and Northern Thailand.
