Bangladesh Philosophical Association is an association of philosophers in Bangladesh. It carries out philosophical research and promotes the study of humanities. It is located in Dhaka. Dewan Mohammad Azraf
Dewan Mohammad Azraf ( bn, দেওয়ান মোহাম্মদ আজরফ; 1908–1999) was a Bengali philosopher, teacher, author, politician, journalist and activist. In 1993, he was honoured as a National Professor in Bangladesh. He was also a supporter of the Bengali Language Movement. For his support of the movement, he was dismissed from the post of the principal of Sunamganj College in 1954, the same year he was promoted to the post. His support was particularly influential when he edited the ''Nao Belal'' in 1948. He was actively involved with Kaikobad Sahitya Majlish (1972–99). Influenced by the thought of Muhammad Iqbal, he has been described as "a prolific writer" who "produced sixty monographs, over 1,000 articles in Bangla and English, 109 novels, poems, songs, and ninety short stories. Mohammad Saidur Rahman
Mohammad Saidur Rahman (1940-2007) was a Bangladeshi writer, journalist, and folklorist. Early life Rahman was born on 28 January 1940 in Binnogaon, Kishoreganj District, East Bengal, British India. He studied at the Binnogaon Primary School, Tomaltola Primary School, Kishoreganj Minor School, and Azimuddin High School. He was involved with communist politics as a student. Mohammad Mohammadullah
Mohammad Mohammadullah ( bn, মোহাম্মদ মুহম্মদুল্লাহ; 21 October 1921 – 12 November 1999) was the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Mohammadullah became the Acting President on 24 December 1973, was elected president on 24 January 1974, and took oath of office on 27 January 1974. He remained President until 25 January 1975.
