Bangladesh Government Press () is the official printing house of Bangladesh government. It is also known as BG press. The press is responsible for publishing government documents including classified documents. It publishes budgets, parliament bills, resolutions, ordinances, and posters. They are responsible for printing court verdicts and legal cases. History Bangladesh Government Press traces its origins to the East Bengal Government Press which was based in Kolkata. It was briefly shifted to Dhaka Central Jail. It was reorganized and moved to current location in 1953; it was renamed East Pakistan Government Press. After the Independence of Bangladesh, East Pakistan Government Press became the Bangladesh Government Press. Bangladesh Civil Service ( bn, বাংলাদেশ সিভিল সার্ভিস ), more popularly known by its acronym BCS, is the civil service of Bangladesh. Civil service in the Indian subcontinent originated from the Imperial Civil Service which was the elite higher civil service of the British Empire in India during British rule in the period between 1858 and 1947. After the partition of 1947, East Bengal became a province of Pakistan, so it was Central Superior Services of Pakistan which later after the independence of Bangladesh in 1971 became known as Bangladesh Civil Service. Question Paper Leaks In Bangladesh
According to the government of Bangladesh, the first question paper leak from any public examination happened in 1979, during the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination period. However, leaks have become more frequent since 2014. Question papers of other public examinations such as the Primary School Certificate (PSC), Junior School Certificate (JSC), Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) have been leaked in a regular basis. There have also been multiple university and medical entrance exam question paper leaks.
