Sri Permaisuri is a township in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located near Bandar Tun Razak and Salak South. It was opened for residential housing in 2000. The major types of housing there are apartments and condominiums. History Bandar Sri Permaisuri is a privatised joint venture between Dwitasik Sdn. Bhd as the developer and Kuala Lumpur City Hall ''(Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur)'' (DBKL) as the land owner on a site. It is developed as an integrated, self-contained residential, commercial and recreational township. The township was expected to cater to an estimated 70,000 people. The development shares common boundaries with Cheras, Salak Selatan and Bandar Tun Razak. Kuala Lumpur–Seremban Expressway
The Kuala Lumpur–Seremban Expressway is a main expressway in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This expressway links Kuala Lumpur in the north to Seremban, Negeri Sembilan in the south. Some maps label this highway as E2 as it links directly with the North–South Expressway Southern Route; however this appellation is not strictly correct as this particular stretch of road is not managed by PLUS Malaysia Berhad, but rather by ANIH Berhad (formerly known as Metramac Corporation (MetaCorp)). Consequently, the toll rate at Sungai Besi Toll Plaza had included an extra payment to cover the Kuala Lumpur–Seremban Expressway until 2018, when the toll was abolished. Besraya Expressway
The Sungai Besi Expressway (Expressway 9, E9) is a controlled-access highway in the Klang Valley region of Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway runs between Serdang and Ampang, Selangor through southeastern Kuala Lumpur, parallel and directly adjacent to the North–South Expressway and the Kuala Lumpur–Seremban Expressway. Route background The expressway begins at Serdang on the outskirts of Universiti Putra Malaysia, where it continues from the Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway. The expressway then runs northwards immediately east of the North–South Expressway through Seri Kembangan into Sungai Besi. The MRT 3, MRT Line 3 or MRT Circle Line is a proposed thirteenth rail transit line, the third Mass Rapid Transit line and the fourth fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. Once completed, this line would form the loop line of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. The director of this project is currently Tuan Haji Mohd Yusof Kasiron. Salak Selatan LRT station is a Malaysian low-rise rapid transit station situated near and named after the Kuala Lumpur township of Salak South. The station is part of the Sri Petaling Line (formerly known as STAR). The station was opened on July 11, 1998, as part of the second phase of the STAR system's opening, including 7 new stations along the Chan Sow Lin-Sri Petaling route. RapidKL
Rapid KL (styled as ''rapidKL'') is a public transportation system owned by Prasarana Malaysia and operated by its subsidiaries Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus. With its coverage throughout Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley areas, it was followed by a federal government restructuring of public transport systems in Kuala Lumpur after the bankruptcy of STAR and PUTRA Light Rapid Transit operators, the precursors to the Ampang/Sri Petaling Lines and Kelana Jaya Line respectively. Salak (''Salacca zalacca'') is a species of palm tree (family Arecaceae) native to Java and Sumatra in Indonesia. It is cultivated in other regions of Indonesia as a food crop, and reportedly naturalized in Bali, Lombok, Timor, Maluku, and Sulawesi. The salak ''Salacca glabrecens'' was featured on a Malaysian stamp, issued 27 February 1999 under the rare fruits series of stamps. It is a very short-stemmed palm, with leaves up to long; each leaf has a 2-metre long petiole with spines up to long, and numerous leaflets. The fruits grow in clusters at the base of the palm, and are also known as snakeskin fruit due to the reddish-brown scaly skin. They are about the size and shape of a ripe fig, with a distinct tip. Permaisuri Lake Gardens ( ms, Taman Tasik Permaisuri) is an urban park in Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Description The gardens feature a large central lake that was a byproduct of tin mining activities under British Rule. Later on, the area was cleaned up and developed into a park. Permaisuri Lake Gardens has an area of 49.4 hectares or 122 acres. It was officially opened by D.Y.M.M Sultanah Zanariah, D.K Raja Permaisuri Agong the 8th on April 2, 1989. This 49.4-hectare lake park was developed in 1984 and is located between Jalan Budiman and Jalan Tenteram, Cheras which is about 15 km from the city centre. It consists of a 14-acre lake with four small islands in it.
