Bandar Jugra
Jugra (Jawi: جوڬرا, zh, 蚶山) is a mukim, historical town and former royal town in Kuala Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is separated from Pulau Carey by the Langat River. The town is administered by the Zone 16 of the Kuala Langat Municipal Council. History Jugra was the royal capital of Selangor when the then ruling monarch, Sultan Abdul Samad built Istana Jugra (Jugra Palace) and moved there in 1875. It was situated in a strategic location, not exactly at the river mouth but easily accessible from the Straits of Malacca, and protected by a hill, Bukit Jugra; which stands clearly out above the low-lying mangrove swamps. For centuries it served as a familiar landmark to navigators of the Straits of Malacca. Chinese, Arab and European mariners marked it in their charts; Bukit Jugra was also known to many foreign navigators as Parcelar Hill, derived from the Arabic name for it, ''balasar''. RapidKL
Rapid KL (styled as ''rapidKL'') is a public transportation system owned by Prasarana Malaysia and operated by its subsidiaries Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus. With its coverage throughout Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley areas, it was followed by a federal government restructuring of public transport systems in Kuala Lumpur after the bankruptcy of STAR and PUTRA Light Rapid Transit operators, the precursors to the Ampang/Sri Petaling Lines and Kelana Jaya Line respectively. Kajang
Kajang is a town in Hulu Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. Kajang, along with much of Hulu Langat District, is governed by the Kajang Municipal Council. Kajang town is located on the eastern banks of the Langat River. It is surrounded by Cheras, Semenyih, Bangi, Putrajaya and Serdang. According to the 2020 census, the local authority area (which includes Kajang) has a population of 1.05 million people. Etymology The name ''Kajang'' is believed to have originated from the language of Temuan tribes ( Orang Asli) who populated the Langat valley in the 17th-18th centuries. In their language ''kajang'' referred to their art of weaving screwpine or pandanus leaves, which were prevalent in much of the country. The South Klang Valley Expressway, or SKVE (Malay: ''Lebuhraya Lembah Klang Selatan''), is an expressway in the southern part of Klang Valley, Malaysia's most densely populated region. Port Dickson (Negeri Sembilan Malay: ''Podeksen'', Jawi: ) is a beach resort in Port Dickson District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Masjid Alaeddin
Alaeddin Mosque is a historical mosque in Jugra, Kuala Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. In 2008, the mosque was gazetted as a National Heritage Site (Tapak Warisan Negara). Also known as Masjid Alaeddin and Masjid Bandar, the mosque was built in 1918 and officiated by a former Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah Ibni Raja Muda Musa in 1924.
