Balázs Farkas
Balázs Farkas (born 24 April 1988) is a Hungarian professional footballer. Career Farkas began his career with Nyíregyháza Spartacus and was here promoted to the first team in July 2004. After just one year on seniorside for Nyíregyháza Spartacus who played fifteen games and scores one goal signed in October 2005 with Dynamo Kyiv. Farkas has been loaned out to FC Fehérvár for the 2009/2010 season. International career He is also a member of the Hungary national football team and played his first match on 15 November 2006. Nyíregyháza (, sk, Níreďháza) is a city with county rights in northeastern Hungary and the county capital of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. Hungary National Under-21 Football Team
The Hungary national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team for Hungary and is controlled by the Hungarian Football Federation. Following the realignment of UEFA's youth competitions in 1976, the Hungarian Under-21 team was formed. The team has a modest record, reaching the last eight of three tournaments, and the semi-finals of one, but failing to qualify for eleven, including the forthcoming 2006 tournament. Since the under-21 competition rules insist that players must be 21 or under at the start of a two-year competition, technically it is an U-23 competition. Channel One Cup (football)
The Channel One Cup (russian: Кубок Первого канала, ''Kubok Pervogo Kanala'') was an annual pre-season commercial football tournament, organized by Russian TV Channel One and Roman Abramovich's foundation, the National Football Academy. The participants were champions and runners-up of the Russian Premier League, Ukrainian Premier League and Israeli Premier League. The total prize fund was about two million dollars, with the winner getting one million. The cup rules specified that at least half of the prize money must be channeled into developing young players. The tournament was cancelled in 2009 due to a financial crisis. However, its legacy remained in the context of trying to create a united championship involving former CIS countries. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The Ukrainian Premier League youth competitions is a complex of youth competitions within the Ukrainian Premier League and is part of youth competitions in Ukraine. The events include championship among two age categories under 19 and under 21 years old.
