Baltemar Brito
Baltemar José de Oliveira Brito (born 9 January 1952) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a central defender, and a current coach of Highlanders football club in Zimbabwe. Playing career Born in Recife, Pernambuco, Brito spent the vast majority of his professional career in Portugal, representing Vitória de Guimarães (no league games played), F.C. Paços de Ferreira (two spells), C.D. Feirense, Rio Ave FC (two stints), Vitória de Setúbal and Varzim SC. Over the course of eight seasons, he amassed Primeira Liga totals of 197 games and seven goals in representation of all the clubs except Paços, with which he competed solely in the second division. He retired at the end of 1987–88 at the age of 36, after suffering top flight relegation with Varzim. In professional sports, scouts are experienced talent evaluators who travel extensively for the purposes of watching athletes play their chosen sports and determining whether their set of skills and talents represent what is needed by the scout's organization. Silvino Louro
Silvino de Almeida Louro (born 5 March 1959), known simply as Silvino in his playing days, is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Having ended his professional career in his 40s – playing in 21 Primeira Liga seasons and totalling 408 appearances – he went on to have another extensive spell as a goalkeeper or first-team coach, under José Mourinho. Rui Filipe da Cunha Faria (born 14 June 1975) is a Portuguese football coach, known for his work with football manager José Mourinho for 17 years. Biography Early life Faria was born in Balugães, a tiny parish of Barcelos in Portugal. Like Mourinho, he was a physical education graduate who had not played football at a high level. 2001–02 Primeira Liga
The 2001–02 Primeira Liga was the 68th edition of top flight of Portuguese football. It started on 11 August 2001 with a match between Varzim and Benfica, and ended on 6 May 2002. The league was contested by 18 clubs with Boavista as the defending champions. Sporting CP won the league and qualified for the 2002–03 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, along with Boavista, who qualified for the second round. Porto and Leixões from the third division qualified for the 2002–03 UEFA Cup; in opposite, Salgueiros, Farense and Alverca were relegated to the Segunda Liga. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division.
