Ballingry Rovers FC
Ballingry Rovers Football Club were a Scottish junior football club based in Glencraig, Fife. Their home ground was Ore Park. The club was founded in 1952 by Mr Andrew and Mrs Janet Clark of Ballingry Road with the aid of Jean Coron, originally playing at the King George VI Park in Crosshill. A successful amateur side for many years, the club stepped up to the junior grade in 2004. Their record in ten years of junior football was P 396, W 171, D 69, L 156, F 780, A 725. The SJFA restructured prior to the 2006–07 season, and Rovers found themselves in the twelve-team East Region, Central Division. Scottish Junior Football East Region Super League
The Scottish Junior Football Association East Region Premiership, also known for sponsorship reasons as the McBookie.com East Premiership, was the highest division of the East Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. From its inception in 2002 until 2020, it was known as the SJFA East Region Super League. From the 2007–08 season, the winners of the league were eligible to enter the senior Scottish Cup at its earliest stage, with Linlithgow Rose being the first champions to take part in the Scottish Cup. The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland was not similarly integrated into its football league system until 2021. Founded in 1886, the SJFA is responsible for disciplinary matters within the grade, certain player registration procedures and organising the annual Scottish Junior Cup. The Scottish Junior Football East Region Central Division was a third-tier division of the East Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. The league came into existence under the 'Central' name for the 2006–07 season, although a 'Fife District league' had been in place below the East Super League since 2002–03, using the structure of a common 'East Region' top tier and lower regional divisions in place of the old structure of three separate regional leagues in that part of Scotland, with the Fife Junior Football League the historic local competition. William Garner (born 24 July 1955), also known as Willie Garner is a Scottish former footballer best known for playing for Aberdeen. He is now a manager, mainly of clubs in the junior ranks of Scottish football. Career Garner was born in Stirling and raised in Denny; he was a Celtic supporter in childhood.
