''Balas perdidas'' () is the second studio album by the Colombian band Morat. The album was released on October 26, 2018. The re-issue version was released on May 10, 2019, and includes the song "Presiento" in collaboration with Aitana. Background In 2015, Morat began to gain international attention as a result of their 2015 hit single "Mi Nuevo Vicio" in collaboration with Paulina Rubio. The single was certified Platinum. In 2016, Morat released their first studio album ''Sobre el amor y sus efectos secundarios''. The album was certified 4× Platinum and the band received a Latin Grammy award nomination for "Cómo te atreves". In 2017, Morat produced the single "Yo Contigo, Tú Conmigo (The Gong Gong Song)" in collaboration with Álvaro Soler as the theme music of Despicable Me 3. Morat (band)
Morat is a Colombian band formed in the country's capital city, Bogotá. The band is formed by Juan Pablo Isaza (guitars and vocals), Juan Pablo Villamil (banjo and vocals) and the brothers Simón Vargas (bass and choruses) and Martín Vargas (percussion and choirs). Previously, until the end of 2016, drummer Alejandro Posada had been in the band. However, the percussionist had to leave the project, being subsequently replaced by Martín Vargas. History Formation The members of Morat have known each other since they were five years old. They started playing together several times and, when they finished their formation, they decided to create a band. Some of their musical influences are Joaquín Sabina, Eric Clapton and Bacilos. The Latin Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album (awarded as Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album until 2019) is an award presented by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. It began to be presented at the 2012 ceremony. The awards replaced the previous awards for Best Female Pop Vocal Album, Best Male Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Album by a Duo or Group with Vocals. According to the Latin Grammy description guide it is designed "For albums containing 51% or more playing time of newly recorded (previously unreleased) material and 51%playing time of Contemporary Pop music. The 20th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and was broadcast on Univision.
