Baker Trail
The Baker Trail is a hiking trail in western Pennsylvania in the United States. The trail's southern terminus is across the Allegheny River from the borough of Freeport in Armstrong County. Its northern terminus is in State Game Lands No. 24, in Forest County near a border with Allegheny National Forest. The Baker Trail is maintained by the Rachel Carson Trails Conservancy. History The Baker Trail was first christened in 1950. It was named after Pittsburgh attorney and philanthropist Horace Forbes Baker. The trail originally reached about 133 miles from Aspinwall in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area to Cook Forest State Park. In the following years, development around Aspinwall caused several miles at the southern end of the trail to be abandoned, and the south terminus was retracted to Freeport. Redbank Creek

Redbank Creek is born at the confluence of Sandy Lick Creek and the North Fork Creek in the borough of Brookville, then flows west to form the border between Clarion County on the north bank and Armstrong County on the south bank. North Country Trail
The North Country National Scenic Trail, generally known as the North Country Trail or simply the NCT, is a footpath stretching over from Middlebury in central Vermont to Lake Sakakawea State Park in central North Dakota in the United States; connecting both the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail with the Lewis and Clark Trail. Passing through the eight states of Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota, it is the longest of the eleven National Scenic Trails authorized by Congress. Clarion River
The Clarion River is a tributary of the Allegheny River, approximately 110 mi (177 km) long, in west central Pennsylvania in the United States. It drains a rugged area of the Allegheny Plateau in the Ohio River watershed, flowing through narrow serpentine valleys and hardwood forests. Course The river is formed at Johnsonburg in central Elk County by the confluence of its East and West Branches. The East Branch, approximately 15 mi (24 km) long, rises in northeastern Elk County and flows southwest through East Branch Clarion River Lake to join the West Branch. Interstate 80 In Pennsylvania
Interstate 80 (I-80) in the US state of Pennsylvania runs for across the northern part of the state. It is designated as the Keystone Shortway and officially as the Z.H. Confair Memorial Highway. This route was built mainly along a completely new alignment, not paralleling any earlier US Routes, as a shortcut to the tolled Pennsylvania Turnpike to the south and New York State Thruway to the north. It does not serve any major cities in Pennsylvania and serves mainly as a cross-state route on the Ohio–New York City corridor. Pennsylvania Route 949 (PA 949) is a , north–south state highway located in Jefferson and Elk counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 28 in Summerville. The northern terminus is at PA 948 in Ridgway. Route description PA 949 begins in the borough of Summerville at the intersection of PA 28. The route goes north to US 322, where a small concurrency occurs in the borough of Corsica. Outside of Corsica, there is an interchange with I-80 (Exit 73). The route continues north to the village of Sigel, where there is an intersection with PA 36. Crooked Creek Lake Recreation Area
Crooked Creek Lake Recreation Area is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers administered site surrounding Crooked Creek Lake in Armstrong County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
