Bahía De Cata
Bahía de Cata (Bay of Cata) is a beach of Aragua, Aragua state (Venezuela), of large size, fine sand, clear waters and adorned by the shadow of upright coconut trees. Bahía de Cata has become a seaside area of great concurrence. It has cabins and restaurants and is located 58 km from Maracay along the road of El Limón, Aragua, El Limón.
With a town of 3,500 inhabitants and only 53 km from Maracay, besides of Bahía de Cata, the Araguan coast has beaches like Catica, La Ensenada de Juan Andrés and Cuyagua, Chuao, Ensenadas de Chuao, Café, Puerto Maya and La Ciénaga de Ocumare, to which is accessed only by boat or by hiking through the Henri Pittier National Park.

Beach
A beach is a landform alongside a body of water which consists of loose particles. The particles composing a beach are typically made from rock, such as sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles, etc., or biological sources, such as mollusc shells or coralline algae. Sediments settle in different densities and structures, depending on the local wave action and weather, creating different textures, colors and gradients or layers of material. Though some beaches form on inland freshwater locations such as lakes and rivers, most beaches are in coastal areas where wave or current action deposits and reworks sediments. Erosion and changing of beach geologies happens through natural processes, like wave action and extreme weather events. Where wind conditions are correct, beaches can be backed by coastal dunes which offer protection and regeneration for the beach. El Limón, Aragua
El Limón is a city in the state of Aragua, Venezuela. It is the shire town of the Mario Briceño Iragorry Municipality. From early colonial times it was a center of cane sugar production, and it remained a small town well into the twentieth century. In the second half of the twentieth century it has grown in size with substantial industrialization. The El Limón River flows through the city, and gives the city its name. Chuao
Chuao is a small village located in the northern coastal range mountains of Venezuela, founded in 1660. The village is famous for its cacao plantations, Diablos danzantes and San Juaneras. The village is surrounded by mountains and dense rainforests to the south and the Caribbean Sea to the north. The nearby Henri Pittier National Park is the oldest national park in Venezuela, created in 1937. The village is only accessible by travelling via boat from nearby Choroní, and is approximately 4 kilometers inland. Henri Pittier National Park
Henri Pittier National Park is the oldest national park in Venezuela, originally created in 1937 under the name of ''Rancho Grande'' by decree of President Eleazar López Contreras. In 1953 the park was renamed in honor of Henri Pittier, a distinguished Swiss geographer, botanist and ethnologist, who arrived in Venezuela in 1917, classified more than 30,000 plants in the country and devoted many years studying the flora and fauna in the park. Henry Pittier National Park has the honor of having started the history of national parks of Venezuela.
