Bahnhof Endersbach
Endersbach station is located in the Endersbach district of the town of Weinstadt at the 14.4 kilometre point of the Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt–Nördlingen railway in the German state of Baden-Württemberg and is a station on the Stuttgart S-Bahn network. History The Royal Württemberg State Railways built some earthworks north of Endersbach for the establishment of the Rems Valley Railway (german: Remsthalbahn, old spelling) from Cannstatt to Wasseralfingen. It built a viaduct with four arches over the Haldenbach river and the road to Großheppach. It built Endersbach station a little to the east. The first trains ran over the new route on 25 July 1861, as planned. The station building is still standing. It is a two-storey sandstone building with a high ''Kniestock'' ("knee jamb", which raises the base of a pitched roof to give more usable space) and a shallow hipped roof. Weinstadt
Weinstadt (meaning "Wine City") is a town in the Rems-Murr district, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located in the Rems Valley approximately 15 km east of Stuttgart. Its population in 2012 was 25,998. The town is composed of five districts or Stadtteile which were formerly independent towns and villages. They are Beutelsbach, Endersbach, Großheppach, Strümpfelbach, and Schnait. The five towns were combined to form the city of Weinstadt in 1975. Today, the city is the 6th largest in Rems-Murr-Kreis. Schorndorf station is in the city of Schorndorf in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It was opened in 1861 along with the Rems Railway from Stuttgart to Aalen. Rohr station is located the chainage of 16.7 km (from Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof via the old route) on the Gäu Railway (german: Gäubahn) and is a station in the network of the Stuttgart S-Bahn. Vaihingen station is located on the Gäu Railway (german: Gäu bahn) in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is served by regional services and Stuttgart S-Bahn lines S1, S2 and S3.
