Bahadurpura Assembly constituency is a constituency of Telangana Legislative Assembly, India. It is one of 15 constituencies in Capital city of Hyderabad. It is part of Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency. Bahadur Pura was derived from the name of Ranmast khan aka Nawab Ibrahim ali khan Bahadur who was the Rayeez ul kurnool. Mohd. Moazam Khan of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen won the seat for the second time with record majority of 95,045 votes. Extent of the constituency The constituency was created before the 2009 elections as per Delimitation Act of 2002. Telangana Legislative Assembly
The Telangana Legislative Assembly or Telangana Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Telangana Legislature. The Legislative Assembly of Telangana currently consists of 119 elected members and 1 nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community. Its chief engineer was Nawab Sarwar Jung. The members of the ''Vidhana Sabha'' are directly elected by people through Universal suffrage, adult franchise. Each List of constituencies of Telangana Legislative Assembly, constituency elects one member of the assembly. Members are popularly known as M.L.A's. The assembly is elected using the Plurality voting, simple plurality or "first past the post" electoral system. The elections are conducted by the Election Commission of India. Palm Valley, or Tadban ( te, తడ్బాన్, translit=Taḍbān, lit=Palm Valley), is a region in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is part of the Bahadurpura constituency. The names Tadban and Palm Valley come from the multitude of palm trees (''taḍ'') that grew in the area in the late 19th century. It is close to Mir Alam Tank. 2014 Telangana Legislative Assembly Election
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It was held concurrently with the Indian general election. The results were declared on 16 May 2014. The Telugu Desam Party led by N. Chandrababu Naidu won a majority of the 175 seats in the rump Andhra Pradesh, while Telangana Rashtra Samithi led by K. Chandrashekar Rao won in the new state of Telangana. Muhamed Haneef (born 29 September 1979) is an Indian born doctor who was falsely accused of aiding terrorists, and left Australia upon cancellation of his visa amid great political controversy. The Telangana Legislative Assembly election was held in Telangana on 7 December 2018 to constitute the second Legislative Assembly since the formation of the state in 2014. Falaknuma Palace
Falaknuma is a palace in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It originally belonged to the Paigah family, and was later owned by the Nizam of Hyderabad. It is on a hillock and covers a area in Falaknuma, from Charminar. It was built by Nawab Sir Viqar-ul-Umra, Prime Minister of Hyderabad and the uncle & brother-in-law of the sixth Nizam. Nawab Mohammad Moazam Khan (born 10 September 1970) is an Indian politician and a Member of Telangana Legislative Assembly of the Bahadurpura from the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen. Career In September 2004, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen party nominated Khan as their candidate for the Asif Nagar by elections instead of renominating Haji Seth. Party president Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi justified the nomination by saying that Khan came from non-controversial and educated family.
