Badri (2000 Film)
''Badri'' is a 2000 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. It stars Pawan Kalyan, Amisha Patel and Renu Desai, with music composed by Ramana Gogula. It is produced by T. Trivikrama Rao under the Vijaya Lakhshmi Movies banner. The film marks the debut of Puri Jagannadh as a director and Ramana Gogula's collaboration with Pawan Kalyan after the successful film '' Thammudu'' (1999). In 2004, Puri Jagannadh remade this film in Hindi as '' Shart: The Challenge''. Plot Badri (Pawan Kalyan) is an ad agency director whose parents are settled in the USA. Puri Jagannadh
Petla "Puri" Jagannadh (born 28 September 1966) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer, who works primarily in the Telugu film Industry. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu film '' Badri'' starring Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai and Ameesha Patel. In 2006, he directed the Telugu film ''Pokiri'', premiered at the 7th IIFA Film Festival held in Dubai. The film was later re-made into several Indian languages, and brought Puri widespread Indian recognition. He made his Hindi film debut in 2004, with the film '' Shart: The Challenge''. ''Johnny'' is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language martial-arts film written and directed by Pawan Kalyan. Produced by Allu Aravind, the film starred Pawan Kalyan in the title role, while Renu Desai, Raghuvaran, and Raza Murad played pivotal roles. The film revolves around a martial arts coach who decides to use his skills to earn prize money in competitions required to save his wife suffering from blood cancer. Gunupudi Viswanath Sastri, popularly known by his screen name Ironleg Sastri, was an Indian comedian who predominantly worked in Telugu-language films. He acted in more than 150 films. E. V. V.
