Badrallach ( gd, Am Bad Ràilleach or ''Am Bad Tràilleach'') is a village on the north shore of Little Loch Broom in Wester Ross, in the Highland council area of Scotland. It is located at the end of a minor road from Dundonnell, and has a holiday cottage, campsite and bunkhouse. Highland (council Area)
Highland ( gd, A' Ghàidhealtachd, ; sco, Hieland) is a council area in the Scottish Highlands and is the largest local government area in the United Kingdom. It was the 7th most populous council area in Scotland at the 2011 census. It shares borders with the council areas of Aberdeenshire, Argyll and Bute, Moray and Perth and Kinross. Their councils, and those of Angus and Stirling, also have areas of the Scottish Highlands within their administrative boundaries. The Highland area covers most of the mainland and inner-Hebridean parts of the historic counties of Inverness-shire and Ross and Cromarty, all of Caithness, Nairnshire and Sutherland and small parts of Argyll and Moray. Little Loch Broom
Loch Broom ( gd, Lochbraon, "loch of rain showers") is a sea loch located in northwestern Ross and Cromarty, in the former parish of Lochbroom, on the west coast of Scotland. The small town of Ullapool lies on the eastern shore of the loch. Wester Ross
Wester Ross () is an area of the Northwest Highlands of Scotland in the council area of Highland. The area is loosely defined, and has never been used as a formal administrative region in its own right, but is generally regarded as lying to the west of the main watershed of Ross (the eastern part of Ross being Easter Ross), thus forming the western half of the county of Ross and Cromarty. Dundonnell
Dundonnell (Gaelic: Achadh Dà Dhòmhnaill) is a village in Ross and Cromarty, Scotland, on the south side of Little Loch Broom and at the foot of An Teallach, right at the north of the area commonly known as the " Great Wilderness". It is situated on the A832 road, east of Gairloch and west of Braemore Junction. Dundonnell gives its name to the Dundonnell River, which flows into Little Loch Broom at its estuary just north-west of the village. There is an independent youth hostel, a farm and a hotel. Many semi-wild sheep roam the area, which is the most inland point of the loch. The Ardessie Falls pour into the loch nearby. Scoraig ( gd, Sgoraig) is a settlement located on a remote peninsula between Little Loch Broom and Loch Broom, north-west of Ullapool in Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland.
