Bad Ronald (band)
Bad Ronald was a rap-rock band from New York City who released their self-titled debut album in 2001. Their first single, "Let's Begin", was briefly on MTV's rotation and featured in the film ''Not Another Teen Movie''. Their second single, "1st Time", was featured in the 2002 movie ''Orange County''. The band achieved little success in spite of their promotion with MTV. The group formed in 1999 after working shows in New York City. The group was named after former Crazy Town member Brandon Calabro's dog Kal El Bad Ronald Santeria. The group wanted "to form a band that combined rap, pop, rock, and sophomoric humor." Cooler Kids
Cooler Kids were a pop group from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2002 by producer Kaz Gamble, vocalist Sisely Treasure, and former Luscious Jackson bassist Jill Cunniff. They were signed to Dreamworks Records. The idea for the group came during e-mail correspondence that began with a fan message from Treasure, who lived in California, to Gamble in New York. The duo began working on music with Cunniff, whose role was described as "muse/sage/groove godmother", and production team Pop-Rox. Richard Burton Cronin (August 30, 1974September 8, 2010) was an American singer, songwriter and rapper, best known for being the lead singer and primary songwriter for the pop and hip hop group LFO. Early life and education Cronin was born in the West Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, on August 30, 1974, the son of Richard and Doris (Eddy) Cronin. He grew up in Kingston, Massachusetts, and was of Irish and Swedish ancestry. He had a brother Michael and a sister Cassandra. Cronin attended Sacred Heart High School, graduating in 1993. LFO (an acronym for Lyte Funkie Ones) were an American pop and hip hop band consisting of singers Devin Lima (born Harold Lima; March 18, 1977 – November 21, 2018), Brad Fischetti (born September 11, 1975), and Rich Cronin (August 30, 1974 – September 8, 2010). Turntablism
Turntablism is the art of manipulating sounds and creating new music, sound effects, mixes and other creative sounds and beats, typically by using two or more turntables and a cross fader-equipped DJ mixer. The mixer is plugged into a PA system (for live events) and/or broadcasting equipment (if the DJ is performing on radio, TV or Internet radio) so that a wider audience can hear the turntablist's music.
