Baanaadi
''Baanaadi'' ( kn, ಬಾನಾಡಿ) is a 2014 Indian Kannada language children's film written and directed by debutant Nagaraj Kote, based on the novel ''Usiru'' he wrote. It stars Praful Vishwakarma, H. G. Dattatreya and Rajesh Nataranga in the lead roles. The supporting cast features Dhruthi, Abhinaya, Sringeri Ramanna, Jayashree Raj, Venkatachala, T. S. Nagabharana, Mimicry Gopi and Yashwanth Kote. Music for five of the six soundtracks in the film were composed by Karthik Sharma, who, with the film became the youngest composer in the history of Kannada cinema. Rajesh Nataranga is an Indian actor who works in Kannada-language television and films. He is known for his roles as a police officer in '' Kendasampige'' (2015) and '' Operation Alamelamma'' (2017). Career Rajesh appended Nataranga, the name of a theatre group he was a part of, to his stage name after B. Suresha told him to since there was another actor of the same name. Purandara Dasa
Purandara Dasa (IAST: Purandara dāsa) ( 1470 – 1565) was a Haridasa philosopher and a follower of Madhwacharya 's Dwaitha philosophy -saint from present-day Karnataka, India. He was a composer, singer and one of the chief founding-proponents of Carnatic music (Karnataka classical music). In honor of his significant contributions to Carnatic music, he is widely referred to as the ''Pitamaha'' (''lit''. "father" or "grandfather") of Carnatic music. Carnatic Music
Carnatic music, known as or in the Dravidian languages, South Indian languages, is a system of music commonly associated with South India, including the modern Indian states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and Sri Lanka. Lahari Recording Company is an Indian music company based in Bangalore. It owns a music label called "Lahari Music" also a film production company called "Lahari Films LLP". They later ventured into construction under the name of HomEquity India Private Limited brand. History The company was established in 1974 by Manohar Naidu with a seed capital of Rs.500. Raju Ananthaswamy
Raju Ananthaswamy (1973–2009) was a music composer and director. He worked on Sugama Sangeetha for more than 15 years. He was the son of vocalist Mysore Ananthaswamy. He died in 2009, at the age of 35 years. Personal life Raju Ananthaswamy began playing music in his father's troupe at a young age. He had his initial Tabala lessons from Vid. Gunda Shastry of Hanumantanagar, Bengaluru. In addition to tabla, he could play a variety of other musical instruments including guitar, mandolin and keyboard. Raju’s compositions and singing style was greatly influenced by his father, late Mysore Ananthaswamy .
