BWF World Tour Finals
The BWF World Tour Finals, officially HSBC BWF World Tour Finals, which succeeds BWF Super Series Finals, is an annual badminton tournament which is held every December of a year where the players with the most points from that calendar year's events of the BWF World Tour compete for total prize money of at least US$ 1,500,000. BWF Super Series Finals
The BWF Super Series Finals (named as BWF Super Series Masters Finals until 2009) was an annual badminton tournament held at the end of the year where the players with the most points from that calendar year's twelve events of the BWF Super Series competed for total prize money of at least US$ 1,000,000. It was replaced by BWF World Tour Finals in 2018. History The Super Series Finals were cancelled in 2007 due to the lack of sponsorship for this tournament. The 2008 tournament – known at the time as the BWF Super Series Masters Finals 2008 – was the first edition and it was held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia on December 18 to December 21, 2008. Chen Yufei
Chen Yufei (; born 1 March 1998) is a Chinese badminton player. She is the reigning Olympic champion. She won the girls' singles junior titles at the 2016 Asian and the World Junior Championships. At the same year, Chen clinched her first senior title at the Macau Open. She was awarded as the 2017 Eddy Choong Most Promising Player of the Year. Lee So-hee
Lee So-hee (Hangul: 이소희; ; born 14 June 1994) is a South Korean badminton player. She won the women's doubles title at the 2017 All England Open tournament. She also helped the Korean national team to win the world team championships at the 2017 Sudirman Cup. She reached a career high of world no. 2 in the women's doubles in November 2017 partnered with Chang Ye-na. For her achievements in 2017, Lee who affiliated with the Incheon International Airport team, was awarded as the best player of the year by the Badminton Korea Association. Wang Chi-lin
Wang Chi-lin (; born 18 January 1995) is a Taiwanese badminton player who specializes in doubles. He is the 2020 Olympics men's doubles champion. Career In 2021, at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he and his partner Lee Yang defeated the 2018 World Champions' Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen in the men's doubles final. They became the first unseeded pair to win a gold medal in the Olympics' men's doubles badminton. This was Chinese Taipei's first Olympic medal in badminton. Lee Yang (; born 12 August 1995) is a Taiwanese badminton player and 2020 Olympics men's doubles champion. Career Lee played in the men's doubles with Lee Jhe-huei. They were champions in 2016 at the Vietnam Open Grand Prix. Anders Antonsen (born 27 April 1997) is a Danish badminton player. He won the gold medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in the boys singles event, and at the same year was awarded the European Young Player of the Year. The 2020 BWF World Tour Finals (officially known as the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2020 for sponsorship reasons) was the final tournament of the 2020 BWF World Tour. It was held from 27 to 31 January 2021 in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand, Thailand and had a total prize of $1,500,000. Huang Yaqiong
Huang Yaqiong (, born 28 February 1994) is a Chinese badminton player who specializes in doubles. She won the prestigious All England Open in 2017 partnered with Lu Kai, and in 2019 with Zheng Siwei.
