BTB Soccer Academy
Born to Be Soccer Club is a Canadian soccer team based in Edmonton, Alberta that plays in League1 Alberta. History BTB Academy was founded in 2013 by Kondeh Mansaray. Canadian national team player Alphonso Davies was a member in his youth and currently serves as an ambassador for the club and regularly joins the club for training and sponsors and donates equipment to the club. In 2020, BTB became an academy, with approximately 450 players. In December 2021, the club was named as a Canada Soccer Quality Soccer Provider. Clarke Stadium
Clarke Stadium is a multipurpose facility located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The stadium was originally used for Canadian football. Over the years different sports have participated at the site. Presently, it is the home of the Edmonton Huskies and the Edmonton Wildcats of the Canadian Junior Football League. History The stadium was originally built in 1938 and named for then-Mayor Joseph Clarke. It was built on land deeded to the city for the purpose of constructing public sports fields by the federal government (Prime Minister Mackenzie King was a personal friend of Clarke). League1 Alberta (L1AB) is a proposed semi-professional men's and women's soccer league in Alberta, Canada, to be sanctioned by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Alberta Soccer Association as a tier 3 league in the Canadian soccer league system. Alphonso Boyle Davies (born November 2, 2000) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a left-back or winger for club Bayern Munich and the Canada national team. He is regarded as one of the best full-backs in the world due to his pace, dribbling and creativity. Davies was the first player born in the 2000s to play in a Major League Soccer match.
