BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium
Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, formerly Ekana International Cricket Stadium, and commonly known as Ekana Cricket Stadium, is a cricket stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in India. It is a stadium under public-private partnership and is a venue for Test, ODI, T20I, Indian Premier League and for many other domestic tournament cricket matches. With a seating capacity of 50,000, it became the fifth largest international cricket stadium in India. Formerly known as the Ekana International Cricket Stadium, it was later renamed after Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a former Indian Prime Minister. The stadium has the longest straight boundaries in comparison to all the stadiums in India. West Indian Cricket Team Against Afghanistan In India In 2019–20
The Afghanistan cricket team played the West Indies cricket team in India in November and December 2019 to play one Test, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. It was the first Test match that Afghanistan played against the West Indies. The two teams had played each other ten times before, with the majority of matches in the Caribbean, with this being Afghanistan's fourth Test match. The Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex or Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground is a cricket and association football stadium in Greater Noida, India, and it was the home ground of the Afghanistan national cricket team. In 2017, it lost its status to hold any Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) conducted matches after staging a private league which was not permitted by BCCI.
