The Basketball Bundesliga 2010–11 was the 45th season of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). Prior to the start of the season, a new logo for the league was presented, combined with the motto "Spürst Du das Dribbeln?" ("Do you feel the dribbling?"). The 2016–17 Basketball Bundesliga was the 51st season of the Basketball Bundesliga, the top-tier level of professional club basketball in Germany. The season started on 23 September 2016 and ended on 11 June 2017. The name of the league was changed to easyCredit BBL, after the league signed a sponsor deal until 2021 with easyCredit. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall.
