BBC Newsroom Live
''BBC Newsroom Live'' is a news and current affairs programme broadcast on the BBC News Channel and BBC Two. It is broadcast from 11:00-13:00 and is followed by the ''BBC News at One'' usually with Sophie Raworth or Kate Silverton. The first programme was broadcast on the BBC News Channel on 21 March 2016 presented by Joanna Gosling. The main presenters include Gosling, Annita McVeigh and formerly Carrie Gracie. The programme's motto is "Stay up to date on the day's top stories, with the latest breaking news as it happens." During the COVID-19 pandemic, Joanna Gosling presented Monday-Wednesday with Martine Croxall presenting Thursday-Friday but other presenters presented as relief. The programme no longer carries the name Newsroom Live or the branding during the pandemic but is presented as generic BBC World News content. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. BBC News At Five
The ''BBC News at Five'' is an hour-long daily news programme broadcast at 5:00pm on BBC News. The programme is fronted by Huw Edwards, the BBC's lead presenter for major breaking news, and Jane Hill on Friday. The show includes a detailed look at the news, as well as analysis with guests and sport and weather updates. Unlike most other BBC News Channel bulletins, the ''BBC News at Five'' was presented from Studio C until March 2020, which is usually the main studio for BBC World News. From March 2020 weekday editions moved to Studio E. The programme is currently on hiatus as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although off air since 24 April 2021, the hour has been presented by the same presenter as the ''BBC News at One''. Kate Silverton
Kate Silverton (born 4 August 1970) is an English journalist. She formerly worked as a broadcaster and newsreader for the BBC. Silverton was a regular presenter of ''BBC News at One'' and ''BBC Weekend News'', as well as making occasional appearances on the BBC News Channel and BBC World News.
