''Aviva'' is a length motor yacht. Drafted as ''Aviva III'', it is the third super yacht named ''Aviva'' built for Bahamas-based British businessman Joe Lewis. Launched in 2007 by Lemwerder-based German builder Abeking & Rasmussen, they undertook the overall design and interior details, while Reymond Langton were responsible for external styling. ''Aviva'' acts as Lewis's personal mobile office, housing his personal art collection, Lewis has been known to live on ''Aviva'' for months at a time. Joseph C. Lewis (born 5 February 1937) is a British businessman and investor. According to the ''Sunday Times Rich List'' in 2021, Lewis has a net worth of £4.33 billion, an increase of £338 million from 2020. Abeking & Rasmussen (A&R) is a shipyard situated in Lemwerder, near Bremen in the German state of Lower Saxony. The shipyard is on the left bank of the River Weser, and currently comprises five production halls with associated workshops and offices, an inner harbour and a syncrolift. The business was founded in 1907 by George Abeking and Henry Rasmussen. Rasmussen, who was known as a talented yacht skipper, proved to be equally adept as a yacht designer. IMO Number
The IMO number of the International Maritime Organization is a generic term covering two distinct meanings. The IMO ship identification number, is a type of hull number used as a unique ship identifier, and the IMO company and registered owner identification number, is used to identify uniquely each company and/or registered owner managing ships of at least 100 gross tons (gt).
