Autogram (album)
''Autogram'' (English: ''Autograph'') is the sixteenth studio album by Serbian pop-folk singer Ceca. It was released on 25 June 2016, around three years after the release of her previous album. In late 2015, Ceca announced that she was working on a new studio album. At the beginning of 2016, she indicated that it was likely to be released in June. On June 19, she revealed the album's title and track listing. The following day, she shared the album's cover art and a commercial, which included a snippet of the song "Didule" and announced the album's release date as June 25. Shortly thereafter, the Serbian website Puls Online published a banner for the album that played a snippet of the song "Trepni" when users placed their mouse over it. Two other songs from the album, "Autogram" and "Cigani," premiered on Serbian radio on June 24. All the songs on the album had lyric videos uploaded to Ceca's YouTube channel on the night of June 24. Svetlana Ražnatović ( Veličković; sr-cyr, Светлана Ражнатовић, ; ; born 14 June 1973), better known by her stage name Ceca ( sr-cyr, Цеца, ), is a Serbian singer and television personality. Often referred to as the "Serbian mother", she is recognized as one of the most popular pop-folk singers in Serbia. Ceca has released sixteen studio albums, which have collectively sold around seven million records, making her one of the best-selling Balkan artists of all time. During her Poziv Tour in 2013, she held a concert in Belgrade with over 150,000 attendants - making it one of the biggest concerts in history. Turbo-folk (sometimes referred as pop-folk or popular folk) is subgenre of contemporary pop music with its origins in Serbia, that initially developed during the 1980s and 1990s, with similar music styles in Bulgaria (chalga), Romania (manele) and Albania (tallava). It is a fusion genre of popular music, blending Serbian folk music with other genres: such as pop, rock, electronic and some hip-hop. Background and characteristics Turbo-folk music emerged as a subculture in the countryside during the 1970s before migrating to the city in the '80s and eventually reaching further expansion in the '90s during the rule of Slobodan Milošević, Yugoslav Wars, inflation and political isolation. The term was originally coined by Montenegrin musician Rambo Amadeus whilst jokingly referring to his own musical style. Damir Handanović (born 14 December 1987) is a Serbian pop-folk composer, pianist, arranger, and producer. Damir produced numerous hits for bestselling artists from former Yugoslavia, including Ceca, Saša Matić, Severina Vučković, Dragana Mirković, Nataša Bekvalac, Ana Nikolić, Maya Berović, Milan Stanković and others. Ljiljana Jorgovanović (Serbian: Љиљана Јорговановић) is a Serbian songwriter who has composed several hit albums in former Yugoslavia. She is a known collaborator with Ceca, Zdravko Čolić, Aca Lukas, Severina Vučković, Željko Joksimović and Dzej, among others. She has composed the lyrics of the Serbian entry for Eurovision Song Contest 2012, "Synonym", performed by Željko Joksimović. Before she oriented towards folk music, she had collaborated with pop, rock and new wave artists. Marina Tucaković
Marina Tucaković ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Туцаковић; 4 November 1953 – 19 September 2021) was a Serbian lyricist and songwriter. Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Tucaković had a degree from the Economic Faculty at the University of Belgrade. She first started writing songs at the age of 19. After the success of "Dodirni mi kolena" by the Yugoslav rock group Zana and vocalist Zana Nimani, Tucaković continued working with numerous artists in then Yugoslavia. Before she oriented towards folk music, she collaborated with Yugoslav pop, rock and new wave artists such as Oliver Mandić, Zana, Slađana Milošević and Oliver Dragojević. In the 2000s and 2010s, in addition to writing for many folk artists from Serbia, Tucaković went on to collaborate with numerous folk and pop music artists from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia, such as Džej Ramadanovski, Toše Proeski, Lepa Brena, Dino Merlin and Zdravko Čolić. Zoran "Kiki" Lesendrić ( sr-Cyrl, Зоран "Кики" Лесендрић) is a Serbian rock musician, most notable as the founding member of the rock band Piloti. Early career With Piloti he released a number of albums in the former Yugoslavia in the 1980s and 1990s, with the final album released in 1996. He also composed hits for other musicians, most notably the hit "Kolačići" for Marina Perazić in 1987, and "Barakuda" for Viktorija in 1988. Recently he released his first solo album, ''Mesec na vratima'' ("Moon at the Door"). Later career In 2011, he composed the music to two songs on Lepa Brena's album ''Začarani krug''.
