Australian International Academy
Australian International Academy is an Islamic school group in various locations in Australia. The school was Australia's first Muslim college and was then known as King Khalid. Its primary school was set up in 1999 with a grant from Saudi Arabia, that being the only foreign money the school has received. The school has six campuses that offer the Australian National Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate. The academy sports a Primary Campus (providing grades Prep to Grade 5) in Coburg, and a Secondary Campus (Grade 6 to Year 12) in Merlynston, North Coburg. A new campus, based in Caroline Springs, commenced operation at the beginning of 2014. Over the past decade, the Academy has expanded into New South Wales by purchasing a school in Strathfield South, New South Wales, Strathfield South (Noor Al Houda Islamic College, originally Leigh College) and an additional campus in Kellyville, New South Wales, Kellyville. Coburg North is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Cities of Darebin and Merri-bek local government areas. Coburg North recorded a population of 8,327 at the 2021 census. Although most of Coburg North is within the City of Merri-bek, a handful of properties on Elizabeth Street, Coburg North's eastern boundary, are located in the City of Darebin. Kellyville, New South Wales
Kellyville is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 36 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of The Hills Shire. It is part of the Hills District region. History Kellyville is believed to be named after Hugh Kelly, who owned land comprising the Kellyville Estate. Kelly owned a hotel on the corner of Wrights and Windsor Roads called the ''Bird-In-Hand''. Kellyville's origins as a landmark date to at least 1810 with the grant of land and the 1820s construction of the White Hart Inn. The foundations for the Inn remain. Leigh College
Leigh College was from 1915 until 1974 a Methodist Theological College located at 416-420 Liverpool Road, Strathfield South, New South Wales. It was the successor to Wesleyan Theological Institution. The site includes three significant historic properties: ''Brundah'', a Victorian style house, ''Leigh College Hall'', a neo-Georgian Revival style building and the ''E. Vickery Memorial Chapel''. History ''Brundah'', an Italianate style house, was built on the site in the mid-1880s for a wine merchant, Thomas Alt. The house was home to the Alt family until 1911 and then was owned by Paul Lamarand. In 1915, the Methodist Church purchased the house and grounds and moved its theological students from Stanmore where they had shared the grounds of Newington College. Coburg
Coburg () is a town located on the Itz river in the Upper Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany. Long part of one of the Thuringian states of the Wettin line, it joined Bavaria by popular vote only in 1920.
