Asset Issekeshev
Asset Orentaiuly Issekeshev ( kk, Әсет Өрентайұлы Исекешев, ''Äset Örentaiūly İsekeşev''; born 17 August 1971) is Kazakh politician who is serving as an aide to the President of Kazakhstan and the Secretary of the Security Council since January 2020. Previously, he served as the executive director of the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan from March 2019 to January 2020, head of the Presidential Administration from September 2018 to March 2019, äkim of Nur-Sultan from June 2016 to September 2018, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and New Technologies from March 2010 to August 2014, and Minister of Investments and Development from August 2014 to June 2016. Security Council Of Kazakhstan
The Security Council of Kazakhstan (, ''Qazaqstan Respublikasynyñ Qauıpsızdık Keñesı'' ) is a constitutional advisory body of the Kazakh Government which aides and assists the President of Kazakhstan in implementation of military policy and law enforcement. The President, who is the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, is one of many permanent members of the council, which includes the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff. The current chairman is President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, following the January 5, 2022, dismissal of former President Nursultan Nazarbayev as chairman. Astana, previously known as Akmolinsk, Tselinograd, Akmola, and most recently Nur-Sultan, is the capital city of Kazakhstan. First Massimov Cabinet
The First Massimov Cabinet was the 7th government of Kazakhstan, led by Prime Minister Karim Massimov. The change in cabinet was a result of the 2007 Kazakh political shakeup where Massimov's predecessor Daniyal Akhmetov resigned unexpectedly from office on 8 January 2007. Observers believed that it was due to Akhmetov's exhaustion and increasing criticism from President Nursultan Nazarbayev over Akhmetov's oversight of the economy.
